Restaurant C was a fine dining restaurant in Amsterdam that celebrated the art of temperature. For their 2016 and 2018 cocktailmenu, C asked me to develop a creative concept that could exist within the C universe. Placing °Celsius at the core of the narrative, I created two stories that elevated C’s wonderful concoctions.
Excerpt: “When it comes to kitchen techniques, the barrel really has no bottom. We bake, boil, cut, grate, smoke, freeze, dry and drizzle. The artistry of a chef, however, lies in the way she has made these techniques her own. The secrets written down in a notebook. The little scribbles in the corner of the page. The stains that wear her name. This book tells our story, and now it’s yours to read.”
